A first-person action platformer bullet hell set in a sunken city:
Playing as Dart, the player bounces and grapples their way through waves of robots and ancient flooded caverns.
My Role:
As the Lead Designer, I was directly responsible for creating the game's playable leveI. When I wasn't iterating blockouts, I also made game design documents and flowcharts, organized and ran playtesting sessions, and communicated constantly with our 30 person team to realize Grimhook's vision.

About Me
Some of my favorite games are Hollow Knight, Titanfall 2, GRIS, ASTRO BOT, Doom Eternal, Lies of P, Dishonored, and Hi-Fi Rush!
Hi! I'm Ian Percy, a Level Designer from Dallas, Texas. I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts, Humanities, and Technology in Games and am working as a contract Level Designer for Noodle Cat Games.

I absolutely love to create; more specifically, I love creating experiences that subtly teach the player through gameplay in a way that lets them learn while staying immersed. I'm passionate because I see a game's level as the most fundamental form of communication with the player.

I love crafting spaces for all genres, and I'm especially drawn to those that encourage immersion, exploration, and mastery over challenge.
